Entrées froides: Ceviche
Ingredients (for 6 people)
- 1 kg of sea bass fillet or other firm white fish
- 1 large onion
- 1 garlic clove
- ½ cup of lime juice
- ½ cup of orange juice
- 1 fresh chili pepper, ground
- Chopped cilantro
- 1 large ear of corn (or canned corn)
- Salt and pepper
Preparation
Clean the fish, cut it into cubes, add salt and pepper, and cover it with the orange and lime juices. Let it marinate for 1 hour. Cut the onion lengthwise, add it to the mixture along with the chili pepper, and let it marinate for another hour. Sprinkle with chopped cilantro.
Serve cold with corn slices.
